CREATIONS OF AN ARTIST
Nancy has spent her lifetime creating unique and spectacular dolls and other works of art. She graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 1987 and is now nationally recognized as a doll maker and painter (and has quite a few international buyers!). Wiley debuted her work professionally in 1990 at the American International Toy Fair in New York City. Inspired doll collector Louise Fecher decided to make a book chronicling Wiley's stunning works, and this book was published in 2004. Since then, Wiley has been creating custom dolls to illustrate classic fairy tales such as Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella. Her work has also been featured in the Museum of American Folk Art in New York City and in Rochester's Strong Museum of Play!
Wiley lives today in Canandaigua, New York with her children Henry and Elizabeth. She is currently working on incredible projects including Peter Pan and a painting collection to represent today's youth. In addition to her full art work schedule, Wiley is the proud owner of True Lily- her effort to fill the world with incredible art work from colleagues and with her favorite things!
